In 2002, after twenty exciting years, my corporate career ended when the software company for which I worked in San Francisco was sold. I was a senior software developer for a dozen years then traveled the US as a senior technical consultant for another eight years.
Since then, I've continued to re-tool my skills for the new millennium by pursuing my interests in website design, web standards compliance, the internet and search, and Web 2.0.
I usually work alone, but really enjoy collaborating with colleagues if a neat project comes up. Ever present, too, are my two four-legged assistants, Webster and his cousin, Sparky (above), who keep my heart and my hearth happy and warm.
